The Scholar's Desk offers general arts and humanities research with specialized expertise in European art and history of the medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods, and in American art and historical objects. Strategically located in the Washington, DC metro area, we have direct access to some of the world's finest repositories of historical material, including collections at the Library of Congress and the National Gallery of Art, as well as the freedom to travel as your project warrants. We have carried out research across the U.S. and in Europe, at such institutions as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Getty Center in Los Angeles, the British Library in London, and the Bibliothèque royale de Belgique in Brussels.
